In short

We load no third-party script into this site: no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no tag manager. Fonts and images sit on our own server too. Opening this page sends nothing to anyone else.

Contact form

What you enter (name, email address, optionally the company and your message) is stored on our server so we can answer your enquiry. We do not pass it on and we use it for nothing else.

Usage measurement

On our own server we record which pages are opened and which buttons are clicked, how much time passes between two actions, along with device type and browser identification. So that consecutive visits are recognisable as one visit, your browser stores a random string for this. It contains nothing about you personally. Only once you submit the form yourself can the visit be linked to your name.

The contents of form fields are not recorded, only the fact that a form was submitted.

If you arrive through a link or an ad, we also record which website you came from (the site address only, not the path on it), which campaign details were in the address you opened (utm parameters, referral code) and which click identifier an advertising platform attached (such as Google's gclid or Meta's fbclid). These stay with us; nothing is reported back to those platforms.

Browser storage

We set no cookies for visitors. Your browser holds four things: the visitor identifier just described and your language choice permanently, plus a session identifier and the campaign details mentioned above for the lifetime of this tab only. You can delete all of it at any time in your browser settings. The site works unchanged afterwards.

Deletion

An informal message to info@waey.com is enough, and we will delete your enquiry together with the associated visit history in full. You can ask what is stored about you the same way.
